Get exposure to a wide variety of healthcare fields with BIOL 117, Pre-Health Thrive-1 Considering Health Professions.  Throughout the course, practitioners will provide insight into their professions such as allopathic and osteopathic medicine, podiatric medicine, veterinary medicine, optometry, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, social work, and occupational therapy.  It’s 1 credit and taught pass/fail.  It was a huge success last year and it’s coming back again.  Take it in the fall!

7. University of Charleston School of Pharmacy hosts an intensive four day summer camp to learn more about a career in pharmacy for college undergraduates who are interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy.   The camp will be held Tuesday, June 18th — Friday, June 21st and registration is still open.
