At the Office of Health Professions Advising at UNC, we are thrilled about the prospect of guiding you on your journey towards a rewarding career in health professions. While we look forward to meeting you, please note that our current capacity limits us to only meeting with current students, so come see us in your first semester!
However, we know making decisions about college and career paths can be challenging, and having access to the right resources is crucial. Let us guide you through what HPA offers, including support for when you are a Tar Heel and valuable resources to get you started.
RESOURCES
Once you become a Tar Heel, you can expect:
- The opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings with HPA advisors to talk career exploration, extracurricular resources, and application strategies
- Guidance and community building from trained pre-health Peer Guides who are navigating their own pre-health journey and can share their experiences
- Bi-monthly newsletters sharing pre-health opportunities including volunteer ideas, informational fairs and events, job options, and clinical experiences
- Programs created for pre-health students to learn how to get started and how to make the best of your experience at UNC
- And a community that is dedicated to helping you reach your goals!
