Veterinary Science

A veterinarian is a highly trained medical professional who specializes in the healthcare of animals. They play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and health of various types of animals, from pets to farm animals, exotic species, and even wildlife. Veterinary medicine encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and areas of expertise, making it a diverse and rewarding career choice for individuals interested in both medicine and animals.

Veterinarians make sure the nation’s food supply is safe. They work to control the spread of diseases. They conduct research that helps both animals and humans. Veterinarians are at the forefront of protecting the public’s health and welfare (The American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges).
